[In 1996, the members of the Angolan dance group Kilandukilu (which means ‘having fun‘ in an Angolan dialect) left hearth and home to start a new life in Europe. The Portuguese filmmaker Margarida Leit_o follows them during their efforts to realise their dream: acquire worldwide fame with their music. Owing to circumstances, they end up in Lisbon, where they initially have great trouble settling in and finding suitable accommodation. Due to financial problems, they are forced to take jobs as construction workers. Their big chance comes when they are invited to perform for a real audience, after which choreographer Pedro can finally get to work. Only when they are on stage they can forget their worries, because an enthusiastic audience is what they live for.]

Em 1996, emigram para Portugal em perseguição de um sonho: triunfar como dançarinos e músicos e tornar o grupo conhecido pelo mundo fora. Para isso, abandonaram o seu país, deixando para trás a sua família.
