The viper is deaf, the scorpion is blind. That’s how it is and that’s how it will always be, just like the countryside is peaceful, the city is agitated, and the human being is insatiable. "Lacrau" looks for "the curve where man has lost himself" in a journey from the city towards nature. The escape from the chaos and emotional emptiness which we call progress; matter without spirit, without will. In search of the most ancient of human sensations and relations. Bewilderment, fear of the unknown, loss of basic comfort, loneliness, encounter with the other,
the other animal, the other plant. A dive in search of a connection with the world. Where the starting point and the finish line are the same, yet I am not.]

A víbora é surda e o lacrau não vê, assim é e assim será, tal como o campo é calmo e a cidade agitada e o ser humano impossível de satisfazer.
Lacrau procura o regresso "à curva onde o homem se perdeu" numa viagem que parte da cidade em direcção à natureza. A fuga do caos e do vazio emocional a que chamamos progresso; matéria sem espírito, sem vontade. A procura das sensações e relações mais antigas dos seres humanos. O espanto, o medo do desconhecido, a perda dos confortos básicos, a solidão, o encontro com o outro, o outro animal, o outro vegetal. Um mergulho à procura de uma conexão com o mundo. Onde partida e chegada são a mesma, mas eu não.
